Helix Mattress Performance
Helix mattresses have a great track record of preventing movement. Many movements are absorbed by the foam layers. However, the comfort layers’ latex-like, polyfoam is more springy than regular memory foam. The springiness emanating out of the coil’s center may allow you to detect your partner’s movements during the night.
Dusk & Sunset absorb the most movement of all Helix models due to their memory foam layers.
The Plus features two comfort layers, which stop most coil motions contacting the mattress’ springy core.
As a result, less vibration may travel over the surface of the mattress.
The amount of noise transferred to the mattress is therefore reduced. It is possible to rest better if you sleep at night, in the morning, or at night.
Helix mattresses offer pressure relief. This is partially due to the pocketsed coils, memory foam and polyfoam layers. The foam can be used to relax deeply and allow for self-cradling. This may help reduce pressure points such pressure points as the hips and shoulders. The demands of side sleepers or anyone under 130 lbs. Softer mattresses will be more accommodating to their needs. Firmer mattresses are recommended for those who prefer to sleep on their stomachs or backs or for those who weigh over 230 pounds.
Because of their plusher surfaces, the moonlight, dusk-sunset, sunset and midnight provide the most effective pressure relief. The Plus is designed for heavier people and may help to alleviate pressure points. Twilight and Dawn have a harder sensation, which will increase resistance to pressure points. This reduces the efficacy these products in this area.
When it comes to sleeping cool, Helix mattresses perform around average for hybrids.
Memory foam mattresses are known for heating you while you sleep. This is because it holds heat throughout the night. But these mattresses’ coils allow air to flow through them to assist counteract heat loss.
The Dawn’s firmness combined with its lack of sinkage make it cooler than any other type. To further reduce heat loss, the Plus comes with two cooling covers.
Each Helix model features an encasement that’s strengthened in the coil’s core. As a result, less sinkage occurs when a person sits or lays on the edge of their bed. Each model offers a different level of edge support, due to its quality and stiffness.
Twilight and Dawn, for instance, offer excellent edge support thanks to their sturdy designs. These strong, sturdy products also provide great edge support. Dusk and Midnight are also available. Plus provides sufficient support for edges.
Moonlight the Moonlight & Sunset are the most extravagant models. These mattresses will allow you to sink less or stay close to the edge. They offer the most edge support among all Helix mattresses.
Ease of Movement
The model’s design is what sets it apart from other classes. The surface is slippery due to the sinking Moonlight as well as the soft Moonlight.
Twilight and Dawn models have a more comfortable, firmer sensation. Due to the strong pushback of the Dawn or Twilight models against the body, it is much easier for you to move about and get out.
The Line with Plus’s plush comfort system with two layers may make it more difficult to move, but the firmness of the mattress still allows for enough movement.
Helix mattresses provide some spring and bounce thanks to their coil cores. Many couples find this a great option for sex. The amount of conforming or sinking that the foam layers provide can influence the sexual experience depending on how it is made.
The Helix Dawn’s smooth surfaces and Twilight make it easier to move around, making them ideal for couples. Also, while dusk, night, and plus are great times to have sex, moonlight and sunset can make it more difficult. These models have plush, soft surface that could restrict motion.
Helix models are initially equipped with the standard “new mattress fragrance” which is common for all foam mattresses.
This smell is generally considered to be harmless and will disappear after a few weeks. Helix offers a variety of mattress options.
Because Helix mattresses are hybrids, their coil cores provide more air to move across the whole bed. This means that the odors from Helix mattresses will dissipate faster than they would from an all-foam one.
You could leave the mattress unventilated for a couple of hours if you find the scent to be bothersome.CLICK FOR BEST PRICE
Helix Sleeping Style and Body Weight
You can sleep comfortably on your side if you find the right combination of support and cushioning in a mattress. To align the spine and alleviate strain, the hips should not be pressed against the mattress. Side sleepers will prefer mattresses with a more “medium” feel. They are closer to softening the range.
Side bed sleepers weighing less than 130 lbs will appreciate the soft padding in the Moonlight or Dusk models. The Moonlight is a good option for people who like a cozier atmosphere.
Side sleepers who are between 130 and 230 lbs should be able to use the Midnight/Dusk. These sleepers will appreciate the models’ combination of strong contouring and support.
If you’re a side sleeper and weigh more than 230 pounds, the Plus or, to a lesser degree, the Twilight are your best options. These models’ firmer feel will keep folks who fall into this type of side sleepers from sinking too deep into their beds. Helix Dynamic foam layer provides bounce and cushioning, while the Plus model is for larger persons. The foam comfort layers provide support and cushioning, as well as the relief of pressure on the hips, shoulders, and hips.
Back sleepers require a mixture of support, contouring, and cushioning. Side sleepers prefer less cushioning.
Back sleeping is more difficult than usual. You need extra support in the lumbar and back regions to prevent your spine from sinking. Your spine will remain fairly level by how your back is placed on the bed.
This is why back sleepers choose mattresses that have a firmer feel than side sleepers and not as stiff as stomach sleepers.
The Midnight might be the best option for back-sleepers under 130 pounds depending on their needs. This mattress provides the perfect amount of support and cushioning for back sleepers.
A wide variety of options are available for those who weigh between 130 – 230 lbs. The Plus or Twilight might be a good choice for back sleepers who are in this weight range. Both offer sufficient cushioning for the spine and excellent support for the lower part of the back. Both Dawn and Dusk are excellent due to their solid support and moderate firmness.
The Plus, Twilight and Dawn are great choices for those who sleep on their backs and weigh more than 230 pounds. These pillows provide excellent support and help to keep hips from sinking into your mattress.
The majority of someone’s weight is carried by their torsos. Stomach sleepers put greater strain on their mattresses and have a propensity to sink deeper than other positions. If they sink too far, they run the risk of pushing their spines out their normal alignment. This could lead to aches and pains later. The bottom line is that stomach sleepers need a mattress which is firmer, more supportive and offers enough support to align their backs.
Helix versions that are firmer will be more comfortable for stomach-sleepers, who require a level surface in order to maintain their spinal alignment. People who are more than 130 lbs and who wish to sleep well may choose the Plus or Dawn. Due to its hardness and support, the central area of the mattress is strong enough to prevent excessive weight loss. Therefore, a cushion that is comfortable will provide the support that stomach sleepers in this weight range require.
Because it feels medium-firm, The Midnight is ideal for stomach sleepers who weigh less than 130 lbs. The Midnight is not suitable for heavier people. The Twilight is also suitable for stomach sleepers who are lighter, especially those who weigh between 130 to 230 pounds.CLICK FOR BEST PRICE
