Overview Helix Mattress Contact
Helix, a direct to consumer mattress manufacturer, is known for its sleep research. This quiz helps you determine the ideal mattress by analyzing your body, weight, sleeping style, and preferred sleeping position. To accommodate different sleeping preferences, the Helix series offers seven variants. Helix Mattress Contact
Helix Sunset, Helix Moonlight, and Helix Sunset are the most soft versions. Helix Midnight or Helix Dusk would be two examples of the medium models. Helix Sunset Helix Twilight Helix Dawn, Helix Plus, and Helix Plus are three of the most commonly used models. Helix Plus is the firmest model in the Helix Plus line.
Helix makes the Sunset. Helix was conscious of side sleepers while creating the Sunset (the Midnight) and the Twilight. Lunar Light, Dusk and Dawn were designed with stomach- and back sleepers at heart. The Plus is designed especially for larger individuals. Helix mattresses are designed with specific weight categories in mind. However, some people may like how it feels.
Every model, except the Plus comes in both the Luxe or normal editions. Optional, the update expands the coil system in order to provide zonal Lumbar Support to improve spinal alignment. The shoulders can drop further while the hips are supported. To give the cushion a more luxurious feel, the Luxe edition quilts the top. Tencel cover allows for better ventilation of the mattress, while also removing moisture. A 15-year warranty is included with the upgrade in addition to the normal 10-year guarantee.
The Dawn, Dusk and Midnight versions, Sunset, Moonlight, Sunset, Twilight, and Midnight versions are each 12 inches thick. The luxury versions are 14 inch thick. Additionally, the Plus measures 13 inches in thickness. Helix mattresses could need substantial pockets since any of these heights might be regarded as high-profile.
We will review the specifications, construction, and customer reviews for each Helix mattress. We’ll also highlight some of the possible benefits so you can choose which model suits you best.

Helix Mattress Performance
Motion Isolation
Helix mattresses perform well at preventing movement. Many movements are absorbed by the foam layers. The latex-like polyfoam of comfort layers is, however, springier than ordinary memory. Because of the springiness emanating from the coil’s centre, you may be able detect your partner’s movements throughout a night.
Dusk/Sunset absorb the most motion due to their memory foam layers, which are softer than the other Helix models.
The Plus also has two comfort layers that prevent most coil movements from reaching the springy core of the mattress.
As a result, less vibration may travel over the surface of the mattress.
This reduces the amount of noise that is transmitted across the mattress. Your ability to Sleep is likely to be less affected by your partner’s movements during nighttime, dawn, and after midnight.
Pressure Relief
Helix mattresses reduce pressure. This is partly due to the Helix mattress’ layers of memory foam, pocketed coils, and polyfoam. The foam is able to induce deep relaxation and self cradling, which can reduce pressure points like the hips. Side sleepers and those under 130 lbs. are more demanding. Softer mattresses are more suitable for side sleepers and those who weigh less than 130 lbs. Firmer mattresses may be recommended for those who want to lie on their stomachs or backs and who are heavier than 230 lbs.
The best relief from pressure is found in the moonlight and dusk. The Plus is specifically designed for those who are heavier and can help alleviate pressure points. Due to Twilight and Dawn’s more intense sensations, sleepers will be less likely to experience pressure points. This can reduce the effectiveness of these products.
Temperature Control
Helix mattresses perform about average in hybrids for cooling down when it comes sleeping.
Memory foam mattresses have a reputation for making you feel hot while you sleep. It often holds on to heat all night. These mattresses have coils that allow air to circulate through them to counter heat loss.
The Dawn’s firmness combined with its lack of sinkage make it cooler than any other type. The Plus includes two cooling covers to help with heat dissipation.
Edge Support
Each Helix model features an encasement that’s strengthened in the coil’s core. Because of this, sinkage is less when a person lies down or sits on the edge. Every model has a different level support due to its structure and stiffness.
The Dawn and Twilight, for example, provide excellent edge support due to their strong design. Because to their sturdy build, they also provide superb edge support. Dusk or Midnight, plus provide adequate support for the edges.
Moonlight the Moonlight and Sunset are the most luxurious models. They offer more support for your spine, while also allowing you to sleep closer to the edge. These mattresses offer the most support at the edges than any other Helix mattress.
Ease of Movement
The ease of movement is primarily determined by the model’s quality. The surface is slippery due to the sinking Moonlight as well as the soft Moonlight.
Twilight and Dawn models, on the other hand, have a firmer, more pleasant sensation. It’s much easier to get up and move about with the Dawn/Twilight models’ strong pushback against your body.
Although the Line with the Plus’s two-layer comfort system makes it a bit more difficult to move around on than other hybrids due to its firmness, the bed still offers enough movement.
Sex
Helix mattresses provide some spring and bounce thanks to their coil cores. Many couples find this a great option for sex. The level of conforming or sinking of the foam layers can affect how sexual experiences are enhanced or diminished depending on the mattress design.
The Helix Dawn’s smooth surfaces make it easy for couples to move around. Additionally, dusk and midnight are ideal times for sex. However, moonlight, sunset and sunrise will likely make things more difficult. These models have plush, soft surface that could restrict motion.
Off-Gassing
All Helix models initially have the standard amount of “new mattress scent,” which is present with all foam mattresses.
This smell is often thought to be safe and goes away after a few days. Helix has many mattress options.
Helix mattresses that are hybrids have more air circulation because of their coil cores. As a result, the odors will dissipate quicker than they would with an all-foam mattress.
You can leave the mattress open for a few hours if the smell bothers you.

Helix Sleeping Style and Body Weight
Side Sleepers
Finding a mattress with the ideal ratio of support to cushioning is the key to sleeping well on your side. The mattress should allow the shoulders and hips to sink into it. This will help align the spine and relieve strain. Mattresses with a “medium” feel, closer to the soft end of the range, are often preferred by side sleepers.
Side sleepers under 130 pounds will love the plush padding of the Moonlight and Dusk models. The Moonlight is for those who enjoy a more comfortable environment.
Side sleepers between 130 and 220 pounds can use the Midnight or Dusk, which are firm and comfortable. Models’ combination of support and contouring will appeal to most sleepers who are in this weight range.
The Plus and, to a lesser extent, the Twilight, are the best options if you are a side sleeper who weighs more over 230 pounds. People who fall into this category of side sleepers will feel the models’ firmer feeling and not sink too deep into their beds. Helix Dynamic Foam gives the Plus cushioning and bounce. And, because the Plus is built for larger individuals, the foam comfort layers provide the required cradling that relieves pressure from the shoulders and hips.
Back Sleepers
Side sleepers need less cushioning but still require support.
Back sleeping typically requires a bit extra support and hardness, especially in the lumbar region to prevent sinking too deeply and causing spinal misalignment. Your spine will remain fairly level by how your back is placed on the bed.
This is why back sleepers often choose mattresses that are firmer than those preferred by side sleepers but not as stiff as those preferred by stomach sleepers.
The Midnight is a good option for back sleepers who weigh less than 130 pounds. It offers the ideal amount support and cushioning to this sleeping position.
There are many options for those who weigh between 130-230 pounds and between 130-230 pounds. Back sleepers that fall into this weight range might do well in the Twilight or the Plus. Both provide enough plushness to cushion the spine and great support for the lower back. Dusk and Dawn are equally excellent for their support and firmness.
The Plus and Twilight mattresses are excellent options for those who weigh over 230lbs who sleep on the back. They provide excellent support to the weight range and prevent your hips from sinking in the mattress.
Stomach Sleepers
Because the majority of an individual’s weight is in their torsos, Stomach-sleepers are more likely than other sleepers to place greater strain on their mattresses. They also tend to sink deeper than those in other positions. If they fall too far, it can cause their spines to shift out of alignment. It can cause later aches and discomforts. Stomach sleepers will need a mattress with more support, firmness, and enough push-back so that their backs align.
For stomach sleepers who need a flat surface to maintain proper spine alignment, the firmer Helix models will be more comfortable. For those over 130lbs who wish to get a good night’s sleep, the Plus and Dawn may be a better choice. Thanks to their support and hardiness, the central part of the mattress is strong enough not to cause excessive weight loss. A cushion that is supportive and comfortable will offer the support stomach sleepers of this weight range need.
Because the Midnight feels medium-firm it’s suitable for stomach sleepers below 130 pounds. The Midnight is not suitable for heavier people. The Twilight is also suitable for stomach sleepers who are lighter, especially those who weigh between 130 to 230 pounds.
