Helix Mattress Performance
Helix mattresses have a great track record of preventing movement. Foam layers can absorb much of the movement. The comfort layers’ latex like polyfoam are springier that ordinary memory foam. Due to the coil’s springiness, you might be able to see your partner’s movements throughout their night.
Dusk & Sunset absorb the most movement of all Helix models due to their memory foam layers.
The Plus has two comfort layers as well, which prevent the majority of coil motions from reaching the springy coil core of the mattress.
This may result in less vibration traveling over the mattress’ surface.
The quantity of noise that is transferred over the mattress is reduced as a result. Your ability to Sleep is likely to be less affected by your partner’s movements during nighttime, dawn, and after midnight.
Helix mattresses have a number of benefits, including pressure reduction. This can partly be attributed to the layers memory foam, polyfoam and pocketed coils. Deep relaxation and self-cradling are possible with the foam, which can help relieve pressure on pressure points such as the hips or shoulders. Side sleepers, or those who weigh less than 130 lbs., have different needs. Softer mattresses will be more accommodating to their needs. For those who like to sleep on their stomach or back or who weigh more than 230 pounds, however, firmer mattresses are recommended.
Because of their plusher surfaces, the moonlight, dusk-sunset, sunset and midnight provide the most effective pressure relief. The Plus is specially designed for heavier sleepers and may reduce pressure points. Due to Twilight and Dawn’s more intense sensations, sleepers will be less likely to experience pressure points. This can reduce the effectiveness of these products.
Helix hybrid mattresses are around average when it comes to cooling down.
Because memory foam mattresses often retain heat, they can make you feel warm while you sleep. The coils in these mattresses allow for air to flow through them, which helps to reduce heat loss.
The Dawn’s firmness combined with its lack of sinkage make it cooler than any other type. Two cooling covers are included with the Plus to further aid with heat dissipation.
Every Helix model is equipped with an encasement, which is strengthened within its core. It reduces sinkage when people sit or lay on the edges of their beds. Each model offers a different level of edge support, due to its quality and stiffness.
For instance, due to their sturdy design, the Dawn and Twilight provide the best edge support. Their sturdy construction provides excellent edge support. Additionally, Dusk, Midnight, and Plus provide sufficient support for the edges.
Moonlight the Moonlight and Sunset are the most luxurious models. They offer more support for your spine, while also allowing you to sleep closer to the edge. They offer the most edge support among all Helix mattresses.
Ease of Movement
The model’s quality primarily sets the ease of movement apart as a separate class. The deep sinking Moonlight and setting sun make it difficult to walk on this surface.
Twilight and Dawn models, on the other hand, have a firmer, more pleasant sensation. With the powerful pushback of the body, Dawn and Twilight models make it much easier to get out of bed.
The Line with Plus’s plush comfort system with two layers may make it more difficult to move, but the firmness of the mattress still allows for enough movement.
The Helix mattresses may provide some spring and bounce because of their coil cores, which many couples enjoy during sex. Depending on the design of the mattress, the degree of conforming and sinking provided by the foam layers may enhance or detract from the sexual experience.
The Helix Dawn and Twilight have smooth surfaces that make moving around easier, making them excellent choices for couples. Additionally, dusk and midnight are ideal times for sex. However, moonlight, sunset and sunrise will likely make things more difficult. These models have soft, plush surfaces which may limit motion.
Helix models are initially equipped with the standard “new mattress fragrance” which is common for all foam mattresses.
The smell is usually considered safe and disappears after a few days. Helix offers several mattress options.
Helix mattresses are hybrids. Their coil cores allow more air to circulate across the bed because they have multiple coils. This means that the odors from Helix mattresses will dissipate faster than they would from an all-foam one.
You can leave the mattress open for a few hours if the smell bothers you.CLICK FOR BEST PRICE
Helix Sleeping Style and Body Weight
The key to a good night’s sleep is finding the right mattress that provides the perfect balance of support and cushioning. The mattress should allow the shoulders and hips to sink into it. This will help align the spine and relieve strain. Mattresses with a “medium” feel, closer to the soft end of the range, are often preferred by side sleepers.
Side bed sleepers less than 130lbs will enjoy the plush padding on the Moonlight and Dusk models. People who prefer a more cozy atmosphere will love the Moonlight.
The Midnight and Dusk models are best for side sleepers weighing between 130-230 pounds. This weight range is the majority of those who will benefit from the models’ powerful contouring and support.
If you are a side-sleeper who is more than 230 lbs, the Plus and, to some extent, the Twilight will be your best choices. These models’ firmer feel will keep folks who fall into this type of side sleepers from sinking too deep into their beds. Helix Dynamic Faam layers give cushioning and bounce. Plus models are designed for larger people. Foam comfort layers provide the necessary support to alleviate pressure on the shoulders.
Back sleepers require a mixture of support, contouring, and cushioning. Side sleepers prefer less cushioning.
To avoid spinal misalignment and sinking, back sleeping requires some extra support. Your spine will remain fairly level by how your back is placed on the bed.
This is why back sleepers may choose mattresses that feel firmer than the side sleepers’, but not as stiff and comfortable as stomach sleepers.
The Midnight may be the best option for back sleepers under 130 pounds, depending on their needs. This mattress provides the perfect amount of support and cushioning for back sleepers.
The options are endless for people who weigh between 130 and 220 pounds. Back sleepers with this weight might find the Plus or Twilight suitable. Both offer sufficient cushioning for the spine and excellent support for the lower part of the back. Due to their reliable support and reasonable firmness, they are both Dusk and Dawn are also excellent.
The Plus, Twilight and Dawn are great choices for those who sleep on their backs and weigh more than 230 pounds. To prevent hips from sinking into the mattress, they provide great support for the weight range.
The majority of someone’s weight is carried by their torsos. Stomach sleepers place greater stress on their mattresses and are more likely to sink further than in other positions. If they fall too far, they can push their spines out from their normal alignment. Later aches and pains may result from this. Stomach sleepers require a mattress that is firmer and more supportive. It should also have enough push-back to support their backs.
Helix models with a firmer surface will be the most comfortable for stomach sleepers. This is because they require a level surface for proper spinal alignment. The Plus and Dawn are good options for those who weigh over 130 pounds and want to sleep well. Due to its hardness and support, the central area of the mattress is strong enough to prevent excessive weight loss. So a cushion that’s comfortable will give stomach sleepers in this range the support they need.
Because the Midnight feels medium-firm it’s suitable for stomach sleepers below 130 pounds. Heavy people may sink too much. The Twilight is also suitable for stomach sleepers who are lighter, especially those who weigh between 130 to 230 pounds.CLICK FOR BEST PRICE
