Helix is responsible for the Sunset. Helix has side sleepers in mind while designing the Sunset, the Midnight, and the Twilight. Lunar Light, Dusk and Dawn were designed with stomach- and back sleepers at heart. The Plus is designed especially for larger individuals. While Helix designs each mattress with certain weight categories and sleep positions in mind, some people may also like the way it feels.
With the exception of Plus, every model is available in both the Luxe and normal editions. This optional update extends the coil system to provide zonal support for spinal alignment. This works by supporting the hips and allowing the shoulders to drop further. The Luxe edition of the quilt is used on the top to give the cushion a plush feel. Helix Mattress Performance
Helix mattresses perform well at preventing movement. The foam layers absorb most movement. The comfort layers’ latex like polyfoam are springier that ordinary memory foam. Due to the springiness emanating form the coil’s core, it is possible to sense your partner moving throughout the night.
The memory foam layers and soft feel of the Helix models make the Dusk and Sunset absorb the most motion than any other models.
The Plus features two comfort layers, which stop most coil motions contacting the mattress’ springy core.
You may experience less vibration on the mattress’ surface.
This reduces the amount of noise that is transmitted across the mattress. You might be able to sleep more easily if your partner is not around.
Helix mattresses offer pressure relief. This is partially due to the pocketsed coils, memory foam and polyfoam layers. Deep relaxation and self-cradling are possible with the foam, which can help relieve pressure on pressure points such as the hips or shoulders. The demands of side sleepers or anyone under 130 lbs. Softer mattresses will be more accommodating to their needs. Firmer mattresses may be recommended for those who want to lie on their stomachs or backs and who are heavier than 230 lbs.
The best relief from pressure is found in the moonlight and dusk. The Plus is designed for heavier people and may help to alleviate pressure points. Twilight’s stronger sensation will cause sleepers to be more resistant to pressure points, which can decrease the efficacy and effectiveness of these products.
Helix mattresses perform about average in hybrids for cooling down when it comes sleeping.
Memory foam mattresses have a reputation for making you feel hot while you sleep. It often holds on to heat all night. To counter heat loss, the coils of these mattresses allow air to flow through to aid in cooling.
The Dawn’s firmness combined with its lack of sinkage make it cooler than any other type. The Plus includes two cooling covers to help with heat dissipation.
Every Helix model is equipped with an encasement, which is strengthened within its core. This reduces sinkage when someone lies on their back or sits on their bed edge. Each model is different in terms of how supportive it provides edge support. This is due to the quality of its construction and stiffness.
For instance, due to their sturdy design, the Dawn and Twilight provide the best edge support. They provide excellent edge support due to their strong build. Dusk, Midnight, or Plus are sufficient to support the edges.
The most luxurious models are Moonlight the Moonlight and Sunset, so you’ll sink less while you sleep or sit close to the edge. They have the lowest edge support of all Helix mattress models.
Ease of Movement
The model’s quality primarily sets the ease of movement apart as a separate class. The deep sinking Moonlight and setting sun make it difficult to walk on this surface.
Twilight and Dawn models, on the other hand, have a firmer, more pleasant sensation. It’s much easier to get up and move about with the Dawn/Twilight models’ strong pushback against your body.
Although the Line with the Plus’s two-layer comfort system makes it a bit more difficult to move around on than other hybrids due to its firmness, the bed still offers enough movement.
The Helix mattresses may provide some spring and bounce because of their coil cores, which many couples enjoy during sex. The degree of conforming and sinking offered by the foam layers will vary depending on how they are designed. This can either enhance or diminish the sexual experience.
The Helix Dawn and Twilight have smooth surfaces that make moving around easier, making them excellent choices for couples. Dusk, midnight, plus, and plus are the best times for sex. Moonlight and sunset, however, will make it more challenging. These models may be restricted by their soft, plush surfaces.
All Helix models initially have the standard amount of “new mattress scent,” which is present with all foam mattresses.
This smell is generally considered to be harmless and will disappear after a few weeks. Helix offers a number of various mattress options.
Helix hybrid mattresses have coil cores that allow for more air to flow across the entire bed. As a result, the odors will dissipate quicker than they would with an all-foam mattress.
If the smell is bothersome, you might leave the mattress out in a well-ventilated place for a few days.CLICK FOR BEST PRICE
Helix Sleeping Style and Body Weight
A mattress that has the right amount of support and cushions is key to good sleep. For proper alignment and relief of strain, the hips and shoulders should be free to sink into a mattress. Side sleepers are more comfortable with mattresses that feel “medium”, closer to the soft range.
Side bed sleepers less than 130lbs will enjoy the plush padding on the Moonlight and Dusk models. People who prefer a more cozy atmosphere will love the Moonlight.
Side sleepers who are between 130 and 230 lbs should be able to use the Midnight/Dusk. These sleepers will appreciate the models’ combination of strong contouring and support.
If you are a side sleeping person who weighs more than 230lbs, the Plus, and to a lesser extent the Twilight, are your best options. This model’s firmer feel will help side sleepers not sink too deeply into their bed. Helix Dynamic Foam provides cushioning and bounce. The Plus is made for larger people. The foam comfort layers provide the needed cradling to relieve pressure on the hips and shoulders.
Side sleepers need less cushioning but still require support.
For back sleep to be comfortable, you will need to provide support and firmness in the lumbar region. This is important to avoid sinking too deep and creating spinal misalignment. You can ensure that your spine is fairly straight by placing your back on the mattress.
This is why back sleepers may choose mattresses that feel firmer than the side sleepers’, but not as stiff and comfortable as stomach sleepers.
The Midnight may be the right choice for backs that weigh less than 130lbs. It depends on your needs. It provides the ideal amount of cushioning and support for this sleeping posture.
The options are endless for people who weigh between 130 and 220 pounds. Back sleepers who fall within this weight range may be able to use the Plus or Twilight. They both provide sufficient plushness to support the spine and the lower back. Dusk and Dawn both offer excellent support and are firm but not too firm.
The Plus and Twilight mattresses are excellent options for those who weigh over 230lbs who sleep on the back. They provide excellent support to the weight range and prevent your hips from sinking in the mattress.
Because the majority of an individual’s weight is in their torsos, Stomach sleepers put greater strain on their mattresses and have a propensity to sink deeper than other positions. If they fall too far, they can push their spines out from their normal alignment. It can cause later aches and discomforts. Ultimately, stomach sleepers need a mattress that is firmer, more supportive, and has enough push-back to keep their backs in alignment.
For stomach sleepers who need a flat surface to maintain proper spine alignment, the firmer Helix models will be more comfortable. If you are over 130 pounds, the Plus or Dawn might be the best option for you. Due to its hardness and support, the central area of the mattress is strong enough to prevent excessive weight loss. Comfortable cushions will provide the support that stomach-sleepers in this weight range require.
Because it is medium-firm, the Midnight is suitable for stomach sleepers less than 130 pounds. However, heavier people will sink too far. The Twilight may also work well for stomach sleepers of lighter weight, especially those weighing between 130 and 230lbs.CLICK FOR BEST PRICE
