It takes into account your weight, preferred sleep position, and personal sleeping preferences. There are seven main variants in the Helix series to suit different sleeping styles. How To Clean A Helix Mattress
Helix Sunset and Helix Moonlight are the softest versions available from the manufacturer. Helix Midnight and Helix Dusk are two examples of medium models. Helix Sunset Helix Twilight and Helix Dawn are the most popular models. The line’s firmest models are Helix Plus.
Helix produced the Sunset. Helix was conscious of side sleepers while creating the Sunset (the Midnight) and the Twilight. Lunar Light, Dusk and Dawn were designed with stomach- and back sleepers at heart. The Plus is designed especially for larger individuals. Helix mattresses are designed with specific weight categories in mind. However, some people may like how it feels.
Every model, except the Plus comes in both the Luxe or normal editions. This update is optional and extends coil support to provide zonal back support, which aids in better spinal alignment. This allows the hips to be supported and the shoulders to sink further. To give the cushion a plush feeling, the Luxe version of the top quilt is applied to it. Tencel covers encourage ventilation and aid in moisture removal. Upgrades come with an additional 15-year warranty in addition the usual 10-year guarantee.
The Dawn, Dusk and Midnight versions, Sunset, Moonlight, Sunset, Twilight, and Midnight versions are each 12 inches thick. The luxury versions are 14 inch thick. Plus is also 13 in thick. Since Helix mattresses may be high-profile, you might need to have large pockets.
We’ll examine the features, construction, and reviews of each of these Helix mattresses. We’ll also highlight some of the possible benefits so you can choose which model suits you best.

Helix Mattress Performance
Motion Isolation
Helix mattresses have a great track record of preventing movement. Foam layers absorb a lot of movement. However, comfort layers’ latex-like memory foam is much springier than regular memory foam. The springiness emanating out of the coil’s center may allow you to detect your partner’s movements during the night.
Dusk & Sunset absorb the most movement of all Helix models due to their memory foam layers.
Two comfort layers are included in the Plus, which keep most coil motions from reaching its springy coil core.
The mattress may feel less vibratory because of this.
The quantity of noise that is transferred over the mattress is reduced as a result. The amount of motion transmission during the moonlight, dawn and midnight is very low, which may lessen your ability to go to sleep.
Pressure Relief
Helix mattresses reduce pressure. This is partly due to the Helix mattress’ layers of memory foam, pocketed coils, and polyfoam. The foam is able to induce deep relaxation and self cradling, which can reduce pressure points like the hips. Side sleepers and anyone less than 130 lbs. have special needs. are better met by the softer mattresses. Firmer mattresses would be a better choice for those who sleep on the stomach or back, or who are more than 230lbs.
The moonlight, sunset, sunrise, and night are the best times to relieve pressure. This is partly due to the plusher surfaces. The Plus is specially designed for heavier sleepers and may reduce pressure points. Twilight’s stronger sensation will cause sleepers to be more resistant to pressure points, which can decrease the efficacy and effectiveness of these products.
Temperature Control
Helix hybrid mattresses are around average when it comes to cooling down.
Memory foam mattresses can cause you to feel warm as you sleep. The mattress often stores heat and keeps it. The coils in these mattresses allow for air to flow through them, which helps to reduce heat loss.
The Dawn’s firmness and lack of sinkage help it sleep cooler than the other types. To further reduce heat loss, the Plus comes with two cooling covers.
Edge Support
Each Helix model has an encasement that is strengthened within the coil’s core. As a result, less sinkage occurs when a person sits or lays on the edge of their bed. Each model is different in terms of how supportive it provides edge support. This is due to the quality of its construction and stiffness.
Twilight and Dawn, for instance, offer excellent edge support thanks to their sturdy designs. They provide excellent edge support due to their strong build. Dusk, Midnight and Plus also provide enough support for the edges.
Moonlight the Moonlight & Sunset are the most extravagant models. These mattresses will allow you to sink less or stay close to the edge. These mattresses offer the most support at the edges than any other Helix mattress.
Ease of Movement
The model’s design is what sets it apart from other classes. Because of the sinking Moonlight and setting sun, it is very difficult to walk on the surface.
Twilight and Dawn models on the other side have a firmer, pleasanter sensation. Due to the strong pushback of the Dawn or Twilight models against the body, it is much easier for you to move about and get out.
The Line with Plus’s plush comfort system with two layers may make it more difficult to move, but the firmness of the mattress still allows for enough movement.
Sex
Helix mattresses can provide spring and bounce due to their coil cores. This is something many couples love when having sex. Depending on the design of the mattress, the degree of conforming and sinking provided by the foam layers may enhance or detract from the sexual experience.
The Helix Dawn and Twilight’s smooth surfaces make moving about simpler, making them the best options for couples. Additionally, dusk and midnight are ideal times for sex. However, moonlight, sunset and sunrise will likely make things more difficult. These models have soft, plush surfaces which may limit motion.
Off-Gassing
Helix models are initially equipped with the standard “new mattress fragrance” which is common for all foam mattresses.
This smell is generally considered to be harmless and will disappear after a few weeks. Helix offers many different mattress options.
Helix mattresses are hybrids. Their coil cores allow more air to circulate across the bed because they have multiple coils. As a result, the odors will dissipate quicker than they would with an all-foam mattress.
You can leave the mattress open for a few hours if the smell bothers you.

Helix Sleeping Style and Body Weight
Side Sleepers
You can sleep comfortably on your side if you find the right combination of support and cushioning in a mattress. To alleviate strain and align your spine, you need your hips and shoulders to sink into the mattress. Side sleepers are more comfortable with mattresses that feel “medium”, closer to the soft range.
The Dusk and Moonlight models’ plush padding will be appreciated by side bed sleepers who weigh less than 130 pounds. For those who want a cozier environment, the Moonlight is an excellent choice.
Side sleepers who are between 130 and 230 lbs should be able to use the Midnight/Dusk. This weight range is the majority of those who will benefit from the models’ powerful contouring and support.
If you’re a side sleeper and weigh more than 230 pounds, the Plus or, to a lesser degree, the Twilight are your best options. This model’s firmer feel will help side sleepers not sink too deeply into their bed. The Helix Dynamic Foam layer gives cushioning and bounce, and since the Plus is designed for bigger persons, the foam comfort layers provide the necessary cradling that relieves pressure on the shoulders and hips.
Back Sleepers
Back sleepers also need a combination of support and contouring. But they require less cushioning than side-sleepers.
To avoid spinal misalignment and sinking, back sleeping requires some extra support. Your spine should be balanced by the position of your back on a bed.
This is why side sleepers prefer mattresses that are firmer, but not as rigid as stomach sleepers.
The Midnight is a good option for back sleepers who weigh less than 130 pounds. It provides the ideal amount to support this sleeping position and offers cushioning.
Those who weigh between 130 and 230 pounds have a wide range of options. The Plus or Twilight might be a good choice for back sleepers who are in this weight range. Both offer sufficient cushioning for the spine and excellent support for the lower part of the back. Both Dawn and Dusk are excellent due to their solid support and moderate firmness.
The Plus and Twilight mattresses are excellent options for those who weigh over 230lbs who sleep on the back. They offer great support for weight ranges to prevent hips and backs from sinking under the mattress.
Stomach Sleepers
Because torsos typically bear the bulk of a person’s weight, Stomach-sleepers are more likely than other sleepers to place greater strain on their mattresses. They also tend to sink deeper than those in other positions. If they fall too far, they can push their spines out from their normal alignment. It could cause aches or pains in the future. Stomach sleepers require a mattress that is firmer and more supportive. It should also have enough push-back to support their backs.
Helix versions that are firmer will be more comfortable for stomach-sleepers, who require a level surface in order to maintain their spinal alignment. For those over 130lbs who wish to get a good night’s sleep, the Plus and Dawn may be a better choice. Thanks to their support and hardiness, the central part of the mattress is strong enough not to cause excessive weight loss. So a cushion that’s comfortable will give stomach sleepers in this range the support they need.
Because the Midnight feels medium-firm it’s suitable for stomach sleepers below 130 pounds. Heavy people may sink too much. The Twilight is also suitable for stomach sleepers who are lighter, especially those who weigh between 130 to 230 pounds.
