Helix Sunset Helix Twilight Helix Dawn, Helix Plus, and Helix Plus are three of the most commonly used models. Helix Plus are the strongest models in this line.
Helix produced the Sunset. Helix kept side sleepers in mind when creating the Sunset, Midnight and Twilight. Lunar Light Midnight and Dawn, as well as Dusk & Dawn, were designed with stomach and back sleeping in mind. The Plus is designed especially for larger individuals. While Helix designs each mattress with certain weight categories and sleep positions in mind, some people may also like the way it feels.
With the exception of Plus, every model is available in both the Luxe and normal editions. This optional update extends the coil system to provide zonal support for spinal alignment. The hips are supported while the shoulders drop farther. To give it a luxurious feel, the cushion’s top is quilted with Luxe Edition. Helix Mattress Performance
Helix mattresses perform well at preventing movement. Many movements are absorbed by the foam layers. However, comfort layers’ latex-like memory foam is much springier than regular memory foam. Due to the coil’s springiness, you might be able to see your partner’s movements throughout their night.
Dusk & Sunset absorb the most movement of all Helix models due to their memory foam layers.
The Plus also has two comfort layers that prevent most coil movements from reaching the springy core of the mattress.
This may result in less vibration traveling over the mattress’ surface.
The quantity of noise that is transferred over the mattress is reduced as a result. You might be able to sleep more easily if your partner is not around.
Helix mattresses have a number of benefits, including pressure reduction. This can partly be attributed to the layers memory foam, polyfoam and pocketed coils. The foam is able to induce deep relaxation and self cradling, which can reduce pressure points like the hips. Side sleepers and those under 130 lbs. are more demanding. Softer mattresses can better meet their needs. For those who like to sleep on their stomach or back or who weigh more than 230 pounds, however, firmer mattresses are recommended.
The finest pressure relief is provided by the moonlight, dusk, sunset, and midnight, in part because of the plusher surfaces. The Plus was designed specifically for those with more weight and may be effective in relieving pressure points for those who fall into this category. Dawn and Twilight’s harder sensation will result in higher resistance to pressure points on sleepers, which lessens the efficacy of these products in this region.
Helix mattresses perform about average in hybrids for cooling down when it comes sleeping.
Memory foam mattresses are known for heating you while you sleep. This is because it holds heat throughout the night. These mattresses have coils that allow air to circulate through them to counter heat loss.
The Dawn’s firmness as well as its lack of sinkage makes it feel cooler than other types. Two cooling covers are included with the Plus to further aid with heat dissipation.
Every Helix model is equipped with an encasement, which is strengthened within its core. This reduces sinkage when someone lies on their back or sits on their bed edge. Each model is different in terms of how supportive it provides edge support. This is due to the quality of its construction and stiffness.
Twilight and Dawn provide the best edge support because of their sturdy design. These strong, sturdy products also provide great edge support. Additionally, Dusk, Midnight, and Plus provide sufficient support for the edges.
Moonlight the Moonlight and Sunset are the most luxurious models. They offer more support for your spine, while also allowing you to sleep closer to the edge. They provide the smallest amount of edge support than all Helix mattresses.
Ease of Movement
The model’s quality primarily sets the ease of movement apart as a separate class. Because of the sinking Moonlight and setting sun, it is very difficult to walk on the surface.
Twilight and Dawn models have a more comfortable, firmer sensation. It’s much easier to get up and move about with the Dawn/Twilight models’ strong pushback against your body.
The Line with Plus’s plush comfort system with two layers may make it more difficult to move, but the firmness of the mattress still allows for enough movement.
Helix mattresses are known for their coil cores which provide some spring and bounce. Many couples enjoy Helix mattress sex. The degree of conforming and sinking offered by the foam layers will vary depending on how they are designed. This can either enhance or diminish the sexual experience.
The Helix Dawn and Twilight have smooth surfaces that make moving around easier, making them excellent choices for couples. In terms of sex, the ideal times are dusk to midnight and plus. However, moonlight or sunsets will be more difficult. These models have plush, soft surface that could restrict motion.
Helix models come with the standard amount “new mattress scent” that is found in all foam mattresses.
This smell is generally considered to be harmless and will disappear after a few weeks. Helix offers several mattress options.
Helix mattresses are hybrids. Their coil cores allow more air to circulate across the bed because they have multiple coils. This means that the odors from Helix mattresses will dissipate faster than they would from an all-foam one.
You can leave the mattress open for a few hours if the smell bothers you.CLICK FOR BEST PRICE
Helix Sleeping Style and Body Weight
You can sleep comfortably on your side if you find the right combination of support and cushioning in a mattress. To alleviate strain and align your spine, you need your hips and shoulders to sink into the mattress. Side sleepers prefer mattresses with a medium feel. These are closer to the soft end.
Side sleepers under 130 pounds will love the plush padding of the Moonlight and Dusk models. The Moonlight is for those who enjoy a more comfortable environment.
Side sleepers between 130 to 230 pounds are best suited for the Midnight and Dusk’s firmness. These sleepers will appreciate the models’ combination of strong contouring and support.
The Plus and, in a lesser amount, the Twilight are the best options for side sleepers who weigh more than 220 pounds. People who are side sleepers will not sink too deeply into these models due to their firmer feel. Helix Dynamic Foam provides cushioning and bounce. The Plus is made for larger people. The foam comfort layers provide the needed cradling to relieve pressure on the hips and shoulders.
Back sleepers require a mixture of support, contouring, and cushioning. Side sleepers prefer less cushioning.
Back sleeping is more difficult than usual. You need extra support in the lumbar and back regions to prevent your spine from sinking. Your spine should be balanced by the position of your back on a bed.
This is why back sleepers choose mattresses that have a firmer feel than side sleepers and not as stiff as stomach sleepers.
The Midnight might be the best option for back-sleepers under 130 pounds depending on their needs. It provides the right amount of support and cushioning that this sleeping position requires.
Those who weigh between 130 and 230 pounds have a wide range of options. The Plus or Twilight might be a good choice for back sleepers who are in this weight range. Both provide enough plushness to cushion the spine and great support for the lower back. Dusk and Dawn both offer excellent support and are firm but not too firm.
The Plus and Twilight mattresses are excellent options for those who weigh over 230lbs who sleep on the back. These mattresses provide support for all weight categories to prevent hips sinking into the mattress.
Because the majority of an individual’s weight is in their torsos, Stomach sleepers tend to be more prone to sinking than other positions, putting greater pressure on their mattresses. If they sink too far, they run the risk of pushing their spines out their normal alignment. Later aches and pains may result from this. Stomach sleepers will need a mattress with more support, firmness, and enough push-back so that their backs align.
Helix models that are thicker and more comfortable will suit stomach sleepers. They need a level surface to ensure proper spinal alignment. Those who weigh more than 130 pounds who want to sleep well might choose the Plus and Dawn. Because they are strong and supportive, the central portion of the mattress will reduce the chance of you losing weight. Comfortable cushions will provide the support that stomach-sleepers in this weight range require.
Because it feels medium firm, the Midnight is best for stomach sleepers weighing less than 130lbs. But, people who are heavier will not sink as deep. For stomach sleepers who are lighter in weight, especially those who weigh between 130 and 230 pounds, the Twilight may also be appropriate.CLICK FOR BEST PRICE
