Overview Where Can I Test Helix Mattress
Helix, an online mattress manufacturer that sells directly to consumers, is well-known because of its sleep study. This quiz will help you choose the right mattress based upon your body weight, preferred position and sleeping style. The Helix series has seven different variants that will suit various sleeping preferences. Where Can I Test Helix Mattress
Helix Sunset, Helix Moonlight, and Helix Sunset are the most soft versions. Helix Midnight (and Helix Dusk) are two models that fall within the medium category. Helix Sunset Helix Twilight Helix Dawn Helix Plus and Helix Plus have the most common use models. Helix Plus and Helix Twilight are the best-selling models in the Helix line.
The Sunset is produced by Helix. Helix has side sleepers in mind while designing the Sunset, the Midnight, and the Twilight. Lunar Light, Dusk and Dawn were designed with stomach- and back sleepers at heart. The Plus is especially made for those who are bigger. While Helix designs each mattress with certain weight categories and sleep positions in mind, some people may also like the way it feels.
Except for the Plus, all models are available in the normal and luxe editions. The optional update increases the coil system to provide zonallumbar support. This will help in better spinal alignment. The shoulders can drop further while the hips are supported. The top of the cushion is quilted in the Luxe edition to give it a plusher feel. Tencel covers promote ventilation and moisture removal. Along with the 10-year guarantee, the upgrade also includes a 15-year warranty.
Standard versions of the Dawn and Dusk, Midnight, Moonlight and Sunset are 12 inches thick. The luxurious versions are 14 inches. Additionally, the Plus measures 13 inches in thickness. Helix mattresses might require large pockets, as they could be viewed as high-profile.
We’ll review each Helix mattress, including its construction and reviews. We’ll also highlight some of the possible benefits so you can choose which model suits you best.

Helix Mattress Performance
Motion Isolation
Helix mattresses have a great track record of preventing movement. Foam layers can absorb much of the movement. However, the comfort layers’ latex-like, polyfoam is more springy than regular memory foam. You may be able to sense your partner’s movements throughout the night because to the springiness that emanates from the coil’s center.
The memory foam layers and soft feel of the Helix models make the Dusk and Sunset absorb the most motion than any other models.
Two comfort layers are included in the Plus, which keep most coil motions from reaching its springy coil core.
Therefore, vibrations may be less likely to travel across the mattress’s surface.
As a result, the noise transmitted over the mattress is less. It is possible to rest better if you sleep at night, in the morning, or at night.
Pressure Relief
Helix mattresses reduce pressure. This is partly due to the Helix mattress’ layers of memory foam, pocketed coils, and polyfoam. Deep relaxation and self-cradling are possible with the foam, which can help relieve pressure on pressure points such as the hips or shoulders. Side sleepers and anyone less than 130 lbs. have special needs. Softer mattresses are more suitable for side sleepers and those who weigh less than 130 lbs. Firmer mattresses would be a better choice for those who sleep on the stomach or back, or who are more than 230lbs.
The finest pressure relief is provided by the moonlight, dusk, sunset, and midnight, in part because of the plusher surfaces. The Plus is specifically designed for those who are heavier and can help alleviate pressure points. Twilight and Dawn will have a stronger sensation which will make it more difficult for sleepers to feel pressure points. This decreases the effectiveness of these products.
Temperature Control
Helix mattresses perform well for hybrids when it comes down to sleeping cool.
The memory foam mattress has a reputation for making you feel heated while you sleep since it often captures and holds onto heat all night. To counter heat loss, the coils of these mattresses allow air to flow through to aid in cooling.
The Dawn’s firmness as well as its lack of sinkage makes it feel cooler than other types. To further reduce heat loss, the Plus comes with two cooling covers.
Edge Support
Each Helix model has an encasement that is strengthened within the coil’s core. This reduces sinkage when someone lies on their back or sits on their bed edge. Each model, however, has a different degree of edge support. This is due in large part to its quality and stiffness.
Twilight and Dawn provide the best edge support because of their sturdy design. Their sturdy construction provides excellent edge support. Dusk or Midnight, plus provide adequate support for the edges.
Moonlight the Moonlight and Sunset are the most luxurious models. They offer more support for your spine, while also allowing you to sleep closer to the edge. They offer the most edge support among all Helix mattresses.
Ease of Movement
The model’s design is what sets it apart from other classes. Because of the sinking Moonlight and setting sun, it is very difficult to walk on the surface.
Twilight and Dawn models however, feel firmer and more comfortable. With the powerful pushback of the body, Dawn and Twilight models make it much easier to get out of bed.
The Line with a Plus bed has two layers of comfort. However, it’s a little more difficult to move than other hybrids.
Sex
Helix mattresses have coil cores that provide spring and bounce, which couples often enjoy when having sex. The mattress’s design will determine how the foam layers affect the sexual experience.
Because of their smooth surfaces, the Helix Dawn’s and Twilight’s make it easy to move about. This makes them great for couples. Additionally, dusk and midnight are ideal times for sex. However, moonlight, sunset and sunrise will likely make things more difficult. These models have plush, soft surfaces that may restrict motion.
Off-Gassing
Helix models have the same amount of “new mattress smell” as all foam mattresses.
This smell is generally considered to be harmless and will disappear after a few weeks. Helix offers many different mattress options.
Helix mattresses that are hybrids have more air circulation because of their coil cores. As a result, the odors will dissipate quicker than they would with an all-foam mattress.
If the scent bothers you, you could choose to leave the mattress exposed in a well-ventilated space for a few hours.

Helix Sleeping Style and Body Weight
Side Sleepers
The key to a good night’s sleep is finding the right mattress that provides the perfect balance of support and cushioning. For proper alignment and relief of strain, the hips and shoulders should be free to sink into a mattress. Mattresses with a “medium” feel, closer to the soft end of the range, are often preferred by side sleepers.
The Dusk and Moonlight models’ plush padding will be appreciated by side bed sleepers who weigh less than 130 pounds. People who prefer a more cozy atmosphere will love the Moonlight.
Side sleepers who are between 130 and 230 lbs should be able to use the Midnight/Dusk. Models’ combination of support and contouring will appeal to most sleepers who are in this weight range.
If you are a side-sleeper who is more than 230 lbs, the Plus and, to some extent, the Twilight will be your best choices. People who are side sleepers will not sink too deeply into these models due to their firmer feel. Helix Dynamic Faam layers give cushioning and bounce. Plus models are designed for larger people. Foam comfort layers provide the necessary support to alleviate pressure on the shoulders.
Back Sleepers
Back sleepers also need a combination of support and contouring. But they require less cushioning than side-sleepers.
To prevent spinal misalignment, back sleeping usually requires a little more support and hardness, particularly in the lumbar area. Your spine should be balanced by the position of your back on a bed.
This is why back sleepers often choose mattresses that are firmer than those preferred by side sleepers but not as stiff as those preferred by stomach sleepers.
The Midnight could be the best choice for back sleepers less than 130 lbs, depending on their requirements. It provides the ideal amount to support this sleeping position and offers cushioning.
There are many options for those who weigh between 130-230 pounds and between 130-230 pounds. Back sleepers that fall into this weight range might do well in the Twilight or the Plus. Both offer enough support to the lower back and spine with sufficient plushness. They are both Dusk as well as Dawn excellent because of their firmness and reliability.
The Plus, Twilight, or Dawn are great options for people who are heavier than 230 lbs and sleep on their stomachs. These mattresses provide support for all weight categories to prevent hips sinking into the mattress.
Stomach Sleepers
Because torsos typically bear the bulk of a person’s weight, Stomach sleepers put greater strain on their mattresses and have a propensity to sink deeper than other positions. If they fall too far, it can cause their spines to shift out of alignment. It can cause later aches and discomforts. The bottom line is that stomach sleepers need a mattress which is firmer, more supportive and offers enough support to align their backs.
Helix models with a firmer surface will be the most comfortable for stomach sleepers. This is because they require a level surface for proper spinal alignment. Those who weigh more than 130 pounds who want to sleep well might choose the Plus and Dawn. The central region of the mattress is sturdy enough to reduce the possibility of excessive weight loss thanks to their hardness and support. Therefore, a cushion that is comfortable will provide the support that stomach sleepers in this weight range require.
Because it is medium-firm, the Midnight is suitable for stomach sleepers less than 130 pounds. Heavy people may sink too much. The Twilight may also work well for stomach sleepers of lighter weight, especially those weighing between 130 and 230lbs.
